What RegAlign is — and isn't
RegAlign is
The place a Jersey-regulated firm's Compliance Monitoring Programme actually runs. Tests are scheduled on cadence and on event-driven triggers, population snapshots and seeded samples are recorded so selections are reproducible years later, evidence is kept with SHA-256 receipts, the audit trail is hash-chained, and the board pack and regulator pack draft themselves from one record.
RegAlign is not
A real-time monitoring or sanctions-screening engine. Populations are brought in by upload, SFTP or named integrations — they are not pulled live from your admin or AML system. Continuous monitoring is a roadmap conversation, not a current capability.
Human-accountable
AI-assisted features may support analysis or drafting where enabled, but consequential compliance decisions remain with identified human operators. Product wording must not imply autonomous legal or regulatory conclusions.
Traceable
RegAlign is designed to preserve provenance and auditability across compliance work. Implemented integrity mechanisms and verifier surfaces do not by themselves prove universal historical-chain validity or control effectiveness.
Evidence-bounded
A demo, repository file, methodology, model or product surface is not treated as proof of production readiness, certification, realised ROI, regulator approval or external-release authority.
Value evidence
Modelled value is not realised outcome evidence
Time, capacity, cost, ROI, remediation and economic-benefit models are used internally as scenario and discovery tools. They are not presented here as typical customer results, cash savings or attributable risk reduction. External value claims require retained measured evidence, an explicit economic consequence where cash saving is claimed, approved wording and release authority.
